crawling was so last week

{as were pants.}

PS: The picture is from this weekend. We’re a little more subdued than this these days.

So I totally stalk your adorable little blog, but haven’t commented before now. I just wanted to let you know that we are studying infant development right now and OBaby is right on target. Pulling to stand is 7-8 months so all that tummy time is paying off. Also, belly crawling is not until 9-10 months so he is ahead!! Way to go OMommy!!

Such an adorable little guy! I think you, your family and your blog are great!

  4. 4.Jenn says:

Oh my goodness! Look at that! :)

  5. 5.Erin says:

Oh boy, mine too! I got the cutest little picture of his naked bottom as he was pulled up on something. I’m trying to discourage it, though.;)

  6. 6.Danae says:

What is the adorable chair I spy in the background?

  7. 10.Tiffany says:

    That’s so exciting! You know what’s next…walking!!!

  8. 11.abby says:

I hope he gets back to that adorable smiling face soon! A sick baby is never fun! He looks so proud of himself standing up! How cute.

  9. 12.Kathy says:

Oh so cute and they grow so fast!

Who told him he could get so big?

I.Know. It for sure wasn’t me. Sometimes I hear DanO talking to him about being a toddler, though. Could have a lot to do with it.

O, Daddies and their toddlers. I miss my squishy newborn.

  11. Holy Growing-Up-Too-Fast Mr. Chubby Legs!

I think he’s going to be an early walker, Allison. Hold on to your hats. (I feel like I should apologize for any influence Teyla may have had on him.)

  12. 16.Michelle says:

Agreed. Pants are totally over-rated. At least, my boys think so!

  13. 17.Elizabeth says:

I love his man shirt! He looks like a junior Tim “the Toolman” Taylor (to reference another post of yours)! That smile of his is adorable! He looks like he’s up to no good :)

That little dude is cute!! I’d keep his pants off all day to see those cute little baby legs!!! ~Chris Ann

  15. 19.Corinne says:

    Look at him go!!!
As soon as both of my kids could move pants were optional :)

  16. 20.Jess says:

Oh my gosh! Look at those chubby baby legs! I die! My son will be born in June and I don’t plan on ever putting pants on his chubby little legs. It’s summer in MN. He’ll be FINE. And come winter, I’m sure I’ll think of some other reason why he shouldn’t wear pants because I just can’t bear to cover those baby legs up!

  17. 21.Hyacynth says:

Pants really are overrated. Just want to squeeze him!

  18. 22.Jenn says:

Omy cute little guy! I am loving his smile!

  19. So cute! Don’t worry if he does that and then doesn’t start walking for a while. My Elizabeth started pulling up and walking around things in November and we all were terrified she’d be early (not looking forward to the extra bumped heads that entails). It’s the end of February and while she’s definitely more stable now she’s also still not walking. Seems to have lost interest while she’s busy focussing on other things…

I’m sure you receive TONS of these things…but you have a Beautiful Blogger award over on my page! I can’t get over that cute little guy…I hope he’s feeling better?

  21. 25.Mae says:

hi. Oh don’t mind me. I’ll just be here snacking on OBaby’s ANKLE CHUB-A-WUMBA because holy cow that is ridik, yo. Why don’t you go take a nap? We’ll be fine. I promise to leave plenty of adorable knee chub for you.

  22. 26.brittney says:

I could eat him up. Really. He is beyond precious!

  23. 28.Leah says:

O My gooooddddnesss! I love the video of DanO and OBaby getting crazy on the changing table. I’m a dental hygienist and I’m always teaching my little Elle how to open wide and say “AHHHH!” He’s a fabulous copier!

    Love.the.legs!

He is just too cute, my little one started doing that last week as well. They do grow up too fast!
