poor little obaby! glad you got some lovely cuddle times, though. poppy was the exact same way when she got her cold in october – she clung to me like a little monkey, clutching my shirt in her fists and resting her sweet head on my chest for about 3 days. i held/wore her asleep and awake, and it was actually wonderful (other than the sick baby part) because it was reassuring that her breathing was ok…

glad that little man is on the mend. he is such a doll.

Aww, there will be many more times like this. I always enjoy sickness only for that reason. My boys are not cuddlers, but give them a fever and all they want is mama. I have a picture of my now 9 year old when he was 2 and running a 103 temp sitting on my lap as I rocked him on the floor. It’s one of my favorite pictures!

Oh, and that haze in the background – that looks like his arm in motion.

Oh so sweet! I almost could have written this post. My daughter is almost two but had the croup last week too and slooooooooowed down. She wanted cuddles, and snuggles, and to be with/on Mama at all times possible. Though I hated that she was so sick I did love the cuddles and the sleeping and the hugs and kisses and carrying around that went on. OBaby napping in the Moby while you read sounds so perfectly wonderful to me. I miss wearing my babe – she wants “down Mommy” and “walk, walk please!” most of the time now-a-days. Lovely post!

You are so smart to cherish these moments. I remember them so fondly now, though at times I felt a little overwhelmed by it–the thought that someone needed me so much. And the cramps from sitting so still. Now, he’s usually much too busy for snuggling of any kind, so I have to go back into the ol’ memory bank.

Glad he’s on the mend.
