Our beautiful friends the Botz are following God’s call on their life to adopt a precious little one into their family. Anna Botz was one of our two birth class instructors (and the sister-in-law of our doula, the other instructor) and Lucas, her hubby (is consequently our doula’s brother) is a great guy and a great photographer. DanO and he could yack for hours together about home improvement, technology, power tools, programming, and graphic design. They (Anna and Lucas, not Lucas and DanO) have two adorable biological kiddos and we are thrilled for them to add to their family.
Why am I talking about this? Because tonight we will be eating spaghetti, listening to live music and playing in a photobooth at a benefit dinner to raise money toward the Botz adoption. (Did you click that photobooth link? You really should.)
And guess what? The Botz would love to have you join them!

I know it’s short notice, but if you live in the twin cities and are looking for a family activity tonight, we’d love to see you there! Here’s a post on their blog with more information although pretty much everything you need to know is in the photo above.
(Also, if you go all legalistic Pharisee on me and try to say that this is breaking our “eating out” fast, I will roll my eyes in your general direction.)

I would have to say this is no where NEAR the same thing as eating out. It looks more like free food, with a side of “I’m helping someone do something good” on the side. ;) Enjoy without any guilt whatsoever!
And I don’t live anywhere NEAR the twin cities. So sorry I’m missing the festivities. It’s also now Sunday and thus over. LOL
That’s so amazing. What a great way to gather everyone you love to help bring your baby home. Darn distance – we SO would have been there.
If we lived in the area we would so be there!! It’s so awesome to see people come together to help a family bring home their baby!!
