because I can’t really be expected to blog with a hole in my roof

This is what you get today. Pictures of the hugenormous hole that is being cut in our roof as we speak. In its place we’re putting a dormer so that the 2nd bedroom and the bathroom can have full-height walls instead of sloped ones.

Yes the 2nd picture was taken from *outside* my house (while my feet were “inside” the house).

Enjoy (and have a good weekend)!

Go go go! You guys are our remodeling role-models! Dinner soon @ our place?

  2. You are so brave. I don’t even like it when my husband hangs pictures and he’s SUPER handy, really. Just makes me nervous. LOL. Clearly, there will be no roof bashing in my house. But, I can’t wait to see the before and afters!
