O the irony

You can give the kid as many American-made wooden toys as you can reasonably justify, and he will still prefer to play with the plastic Naked Juice bottle.

Or.. an empty pill bottle. But who would ever let their child play with an empty pill bottle.. I mean, for reals! :)

Very cute picture! Or they want to play with the TV remote control. Yup, we can spend lots of money on toys, but there is nothing like the ever day stuff. Have a great day!

Sometimes I don’t know why baby toys exist… I teach at a preschool and one week we brought in a bunch of boxes. I’ve never seen such happiness! and they ALL played with them. Kids are so fascinating!

His facial expression is too cute for words!

Cardboard boxes, Tupperware, pots and pans…why do I keep buying toys for my kids? LOVE that guy’s expression. I could eat him up!

    OMyTwitchingOvaries.

Piper’s favorite toy is a water bottle with dry beans inside. She absolutely loves absolutely everything about it, I think they’re engaged to be married in 2030.

Hey, no worries! It’s reusing before recycling, right? Miss Lucy totally does this all the time. Today it was a water bottle, a tic tacs package, and, as Ryley mentioned, a pill bottle (we are not bad parents, nope). These things are getting a second life before they are being recycled.

Welcome to the club, we’ve had more success, giving our kids large boxes than some other expensive toy. Mindmaddening sometimes.

Exactly. My son (7 mos) will plow through the wooden, nontoxic toys and try to mouth my cell phone. Or Starbucks cup.
