You can give the kid as many American-made wooden toys as you can reasonably justify, and he will still prefer to play with the plastic Naked Juice bottle.

You see, the gateway drug was my necklace.
Now it’s just over.
I’ve ruined his prospects of being a green adult.
OMyGuilt
his expression is priceless!! Love it! :)
Go figure, right?
That expression is priceless!
Or.. an empty pill bottle. But who would ever let their child play with an empty pill bottle.. I mean, for reals! :)
What a great face!
p.s. THE CURLS ARE BACK!!!! YAY!!!!!!
Very cute picture! Or they want to play with the TV remote control. Yup, we can spend lots of money on toys, but there is nothing like the ever day stuff. Have a great day!
Mama Hen
oh my goodness. LOOK AT HIS FACE!!!!! I want to squeeze him!!! So cute.
yes, my child doesnt like the rainbow vomit that IS MY HOUSE, but prefers daddys blackberry.
Or the BOX an expensive toy CAME IN…. *sigh*

Oh.My.Word. What an adorable face he’s making!!! Squeezable!
He is SO cute!
Hahhaahhaha!! that face is ADORABLE. He looks like, “O MY! You caught me, mama!!!” You’ve got such a cute son!
Sometimes I don’t know why baby toys exist… I teach at a preschool and one week we brought in a bunch of boxes. I’ve never seen such happiness! and they ALL played with them. Kids are so fascinating!
His facial expression is too cute for words!
Cardboard boxes, Tupperware, pots and pans…why do I keep buying toys for my kids? LOVE that guy’s expression. I could eat him up!
that expression is priceless!! i think it’s awesome when kids play with everything but “toys”. it’s creative and saves $$$$.
That is such an awesome expression!
I LOVE that face!
Oh I love his face! You made a cute kid.
I could seriously gobble up that face it is so adorable!
OMyFaces. He is going to have the goofiest expressions as a toddler.
OMyTwitchingOvaries.
Piper’s favorite toy is a water bottle with dry beans inside. She absolutely loves absolutely everything about it, I think they’re engaged to be married in 2030.
Hey, no worries! It’s reusing before recycling, right? Miss Lucy totally does this all the time. Today it was a water bottle, a tic tacs package, and, as Ryley mentioned, a pill bottle (we are not bad parents, nope). These things are getting a second life before they are being recycled.
OMyGoodness that baby COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE MORE ADORABLE!!!
the hair curls over his ears? wtf??? he is out of control. i love him, i nom hims cheeks.
oh and poppy’s favorite toy? paper towels. which she gleefully shreds into pieces.
xoxo!
Oh, look at that face! He is SO adorable!
Yep, that’s right! Or a box. Have you tried one of those? HOURS of fun! ;)
What a cute face!!
Welcome to the club, we’ve had more success, giving our kids large boxes than some other expensive toy. Mindmaddening sometimes.
of course he will!
O! Stop already with the cuteness! I can’t hardly stand it!
Love that look on his face! :-)
LOL! Isn’t that the truth. :)
Ha! Love it. That’s why I don’t even try with the wooden stuff. Plastic rules. :-)
How cute! The expression on his face is priceless!
My kids always went for the the tupperware or pots and pans!
Exactly. My son (7 mos) will plow through the wooden, nontoxic toys and try to mouth my cell phone. Or Starbucks cup.
hahaha, what a great face!
That face! Too much cuteness.
Haha! What a silly boy you have! Thanks for sharing!
Who could not love that photo?!!! His expression is priceless and the picture really does tell a story. Nice job!
