Buddy. Please don’t run while you’re carrying a stick. You need to walk.
OBoy, listen to me. I don’t want you to fall and have a big owie.
Uh oh.
Hmmm… what happened, buddy?

That last picture SLAYS me. Like he didn’t know what was going to happen.
but mom, why did I fall? That last photo kills me. I have seen that look far too many times myself.
Oh..natural consequences are SO hard to let happen sometimes..especially when your babies are THAT cute..:-)
My daughter has been getting lots of owwies during tantrums lately…she still doesn’t get it.
Goodness. I love the picture of him on the ground with his legs in the air… Is that mean? :)
Those natural consequences will get them every time.
I love watching them figure it out. I love even more the look (the last picture) they get when they realize you kind of know what you’re talking about….
I feel like I’m giving *my parents* that look more and more these days.
Dang, those natural consequences, for following me into adulthood/parenthood.
And it doesn’t matter how old they get. They won’t listen and will always be blown away when it turns out that we were right in the end. They don’t learn until they learn, I suppose!
