updated 8/1/2012: According to random.org, the winner of this giveaway was commentator number 146 – Gina! I will be emailing you shortly. Thanks all for entering!
After some changes these last 6 months, it was time for updated pictures of myself around here. And I knew just the dress to take them in.
Last month, Shabby Apple sent me this Nothin’ Like a Dame dress and you guys. I feel like a million bucks in it.
There’s something about hitting that sweet spot between classy and comfortable that fills a girl’s (dame’s?) confidence tank.
This dress comes off as structured and dressy, but (shhhhh!) it’s secretly super comfortable. After shooting, DanO made us a picnic dinner and I curled up on the quilt covered grass to enjoy it with him. In a dress.
To be honest, I have one other Shabby Apple dress in my wardrobe – a maternity one – and I’m not in love with the material; it’s more thin than I’d like. But with this dress, my confidence has been renewed. I am more than pleased with the quality and construction of the Nothin’ Like a Dame dress.
Plus, did I mention I feel like a million bucks in it? A million flirty, feminine, confident bucks.
O and hey! Guess what! O My Family is giving away a Nothin’ Like a Dame dress valued at $78 to one friend or reader (who is a friend I just haven’t met yet)! The dress will be new, in the winner’s chosen size, and shipped directly to them (it won’t be the one I’m wearing here, silly).
Leaving a comment on this post is all you have to do to enter! Of course, for those over achievers, you can gain one extra entry by tweeting this:
