My husband, y’all. The man is the very definition of go big or go home. He made me a 3’x6′ whiteboard because he believes in me (and he knows how satisfying I think coloring on a whiteboard is). When I say made, I mean he made me a white board. Not only did he measure out and draw a big ‘ol ‘water glass’ to fill in, he actually took adhesive dry-erase sheeting, cut it to size, and adhered it to a piece of composite board. When I was feeling low last week (when I re-jumped on the Medifast bandwagon), he told me that he would to do everything in his power to encourage me all of the way through my weight loss journey and to my goal.
It is within his power to make me a life-sized goal board. Obviously.
And it is within my power to finish what I have started and reach my goal weight!

How am I losing that weight, you ask? Medifast! If you use the coupon code, OFAMILY56, and sign up for Medifast Advantage, when you order $250+, you’ll receive 56 free Medifast Meals and free shipping! (More details at the bottom of this post.)
Disclosure: I receive free product in order to evaluate and comment on my experiences on the Medifast Nursing Mothers Program. I will only ever tell you how I actually feel about this experience and the Medifast products. Pinky swearsies. I am supposed to tell you that the Medifast Program is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or illness and that any medical improvements noted while on the program are related to weight loss in general, and not to Medifast products or programs. K, you got that? Good. There will be a quiz later.
You’re both awesome!
O, what a supportive stud!!! : )
This is so unbelievably sweet! And encouraging! :)
You got this, Mama!!!
So sweet of him, and keep going! I am working on a nearly identical goal but not as far along in the journey as you are. Saw this tonight just as I was about to make myself a nmidnight snack. Perfect timing, I will drink some water instead :)
You are adorable at any weight! Seriously. :-)
Congrats for doing such a great job though and also for scoring such a wonderful hubby. :-)
How awesome! It’s so nice to have those we love the most cheering for us the most!!
That’s awesome. Husband support is so necessary when trying to lose weight!
That’s awesome! Also, you’re doing great! Go, Allison, GO!

I am also on a “get to my heathly weight and change my lifestyle” journey. This is an inspiration! Go girl!

You look fabulous!!! What a great encouragement! Way to go!!!!!
Husbands truly make or break goals like these. Way to go DanO in the encouragement department! And way to go Allison for keeping it up!
What a blessing your hubby is! :)
wow! that is incredible.
you look fabulous!
What a great and cute idea for your husband to do! I am using Fullbar to help assist me in my weight loss and have lost 20lbs so far with 15 to go! Stay motivated!
That is awesome! Do you mind me asking how you were selected my medifast to do this? I’d love to do it but can’t afford to pay for it… And I’m nervous to do any extreme dieting while breastfeeding.
What an awesome husband you have! You look fabulous, by the way! See you go through this journey is very inspirational. Major kudos to you for hanging tough.
I am so proud of you!!! And also? that whiteboard is pretty fantabulous.
Congrats on being halfway there and I love the whiteboard idea too. Nice to have a visual aid. :) I’ve got 5 pounds left to hit my pre-baby weight and they are the absolute hardest to lose. Best of luck!
What a great idea, and what an awesome husband for doing that! I need to show this to my hubby. I’m just at the beginning of my Medifast journey and can’t wait to reach the halfway point. Congrats!!
I love your visual aid. I am in the first couple weeks of Medifast for nursing mothers diet and have lost 6 pounds. I look forward to celebrating my halfway point. Are you back on nursing program or are you doing 5 and 1?
What a good hubby! You look so gorgeous, seriously, how inspiring :)
I love the idea of using the white board to track your progress. I think it is wonderful that you are aiming to achieve this goal! We all need to remember that we have been blessed with lives, and that we should treat our bodies the right way and we should strive for physical success! Keep it up!
