It’s time, friends.
It’s Christmas card time.
We are the ultimate DIYers, and in the past that has included designing our own Christmas cards. But that has got.to.stop. We have as many babies as adults around here (andplusalso 18 month olds totally count for 2 because, have mercy, that child is everywhere at the same times) and the madness must end somewhere.
The good news is, there’s a new really great line of cards at affordable prices that I am currently digging.
Friends and readers (who are friends I just haven’t met yet), meet minted.
minted., friends and readers.
O! The prettiness!
O! The squishiness! And the scalloped edginess!
One of the main reasons we found ourselves squinting our eyes at Adobe Photoshop into the wee hours of the night to make our own cards was so that we could customize them. Not just add our picture on the front, crop it justso and call it ours, I mean really customize them. Write a letter on the back, add more photos, include more design touches, whatever we were feeling that year.
But now minted. lets you do that, too.
Which means it’s official friends. I am hanging up my Photoshop hat and handing the dirty work over to the lovely folks at minted. this year for our Christmas cards because they can totally handle it. And by handle it I mean rock it better than I could, with fewer screaming toddlers in the background, too.
O and hey! Guess what! O My Family is giving away a $50 gift card to minted. to one friend or reader! It’s in time for ordering Christmas cards, but if that’s not your thing, it works on anything on minted. including their lovely journals and beautiful wall art.
